Will children be allowed to attend the Wedding?

While we love your little ones, we will be hosting an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening! You may still see some children at our celebration as our ceremony wouldn’t be complete without our ring bearer and flower girls, who’ll be invited to stay for the reception celebration. We truly appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Why was the date December Seventh Twentytwentyfour picked?

1) Ben and Suz first realized their love was special on this very date four years back and began to officially date one month later, despite not knowing where their futures would take them 2) In Jewish tradition the number 18 is believed to be a lucky number, if you add the date of our wedding up you get this exact number. 1 + 2 from the month, 7 from the day, and 2+0+2+4 from the year. Together these add up to 18, an auspicious number that symbolizes luck and the gift of "life"! 3) It’s Día de las Velitas which is a blessed day in the catholic religion that also represents the blending of Catholic and Jewish traditions

What exactly is ‘Day of the Little Candles’ aka Día de las Velitas?

This is a holiday every year celebrated every year on December 7th. On this night, people place candles and paper lanterns on windowsills, balconies, porches, sidewalks, streets, parks, and squares; everywhere they can be seen, in honor of the Virgin Mary and her Immaculate Conception as it is believed on that night . It is believed that the idea of candles were drawn from the Jewish tradition of Hanukkah! On December 8 it is not allowed to work and it is customary for houses to hoist a white flag with the image of the Virgin Mary all day.
